2023 Road Race Report

LFCC ROAD RACE - RACE REPORT Hi Folks,

Saturday’s road race was run on Sunday 24th September on the super fast 90 miles/ 145km Gilmorton course (iD: EM117), which comprises of fourteen and three-quarter 6.1 miles / 9.8km laps, on fast and wide single lanes roads through rolling Leicestershire countryside, and passes through the hamlets of Ashby Magna, Peatling Parva, and Willoughby Waterleys, with the finish line just before Ashby Magna.

Hopefully much fun was had by all (obviously the riders had both fun and pain), the food was excellent, and the sausage rolls were out of this world.
