Centenary Celebration Day

An update on Leicester Forest Centenary celebrations. Our celebration day will be held on Saturday April 22nd at The Linford in Newtown Linford, close to Bradgate Park. It will run from 9am till 5pm with exhibitions of club memorabilia, aswell as history from our 100 years. There will be hot amd cold food and drinks to purchase all day with the intention of creating a "Cycle Cafe" vibe for the day...Yes there will be cakes and maybe even sausage rolls. Weather permitting we will put on some activities in the car park. Around midday there will be club rides leaving from The Linford at various paces and distances starting with a gentle short family ride around the local area. The main "Club" ride being 100km which will return back to The Linford around the halfway point for refreshments, also providing a cut off point for those who want a shorter ride or are short of time. There is parking available at the venue so feel free to drive in or cycle in if your more local. We want this to be a fun family friendly event for everyone, not just club members, so it's an open invite to all other club riders. So please pass this on to friends, family, work colleagues all riders or non riders welcome. We'd love a truly epic event where we can really showcase how great our club and sport/hobby is.
